#GorillaGlue No.4 from #Bagheera #coffeeshop for €15 a gram.
Every time I see this strain, all I can think of is the atrocious GG4 I once got at Eerste Hulp. Being the worst weed I had ever smoked in Amsterdam, it definitely left a lasting negative impression. But I want GG4 to fully redeem itself in my eyes (something a homegrown version would do).
So far, Voyagers has had by far the best version, but I figured I’d give it another go at a different coffeeshop, and it just so happened to be the exact same price again, making it a totally fair comparison.
Bagheera coffeeshop gave me some pretty decent looking nugs. Definitely frosty and somewhat dense. Could have used a slightly better trim but definitely acceptable. Not nearly as dank as Voyagers version though, and it didn’t smell as strong.
When smoked, I was relieved to actually taste something, unlike the version from Eerste Hulp. I got all the flavors one should expect from Gorilla Glue; sour, chocolaty diesel, accompanied by sweet, woody kush.
It was quite tasty and I definitely enjoyed it (although not as much as the version from Voyagers).
The potency also wasn’t as strong as Voyagers’ batch, but it was definitely there. I felt stoned and high, buzzed and relaxed. It left me feeling chilled and content. As I’ve said before, I feel like GG4 is a strain that’s mainly sought out for it’s very enjoyable, well-balanced high.
If you’re looking for Gorilla Glue in Amsterdam, I’d say check Voyagers first, but if they don’t have any, then Bagheera would be a good second option if they have it in stock.
